Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (2-4) play the finale of a seven-game homestand and of a three-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs (3-3), the reigning IL North Champions... With a 6-5 come-from-behind victory last night, the Pigs have won two of their last three contests and have evened this series with Syracuse... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- conclude a season-opening, seven-game road trip that began with a four-game series split at Scranton/WB. After finishing the 2014 regular season with the best record in the IL (81-62), the Chiefs were swept in three games in Round 1 of the Governors' Cup Playoffs by the Wild Card, Pawtucket... The Pigs next start a seven-game road trip tomorrow at 6:05 p.m. with Game 1 of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field against the Buffalo Bisons (1-3).
RHP Chad Billingsley (0-1, 8.10) will start for LHV against RHP Taylor Jordan (1-0, 0.00).
Today is Education Day #1, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, and starts at 10:35 a.m.
