The Bulls play their home opener against the Norfolk Tides in the first game of a three-game set, and the first of five straight contests against the Tides. Durham enters tonight at the .500 clip, and is attempting to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - also enters tonight at 3-3, as all four IL South teams are tied for first at that record. The Tides have alternated wins and losses each game this season, splitting a four-game set with the Charlotte Knights, and a two-game set with the Gwinnett Braves, both on the road.
2015 marks the 20th anniversary of Durham Bulls Athletic Park, and the Bulls are encouraging fans to share their favorite memories or moments on social media all season long using the hashtag #DBAP20. Additionally, the organization named its All-DBAP Team this past offseason - as voted by the fans - and that can be viewed at durhambulls.com.
