Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in the final game of a three-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). This is the rubbermatch of the series as the Herd won 3-1 on Saturday and the RailRiders picked up the 2-0 victory Sunday. The Bisons have just three home games remaining in 2015.

vs. the RailRiders

The Bisons are 8-6 against the RailRiders this season and have won eight of the last 11 games between the club. A win tonight would give Buffalo the season series victory for the second consecutive year. The teams will play a two at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, September 3-4.

Scott Copeland

RHP SCOTT COPELAND is 6-1 with a 2.47 ERA in eight starts since the All-Star break. He beat Lehigh Valley last Wednesday with six innings of two-run baseball. With a 2.46 ERA on the season, Copeland is just nine points behind Charlotte's Erik Johnson for the best ERA in the league. Johnson is scheduled to start for the Knights this Friday.

MattVP

INF MATT HAGUE brings a 10-game hit streak (16-41, .390) into tonight's game, his second double-digit hit streak of the season. Hague hit in 14 straight, April 29-May 13. Hague had two hits yesterday for his 54th multi-hit game of the season. He leads the IL in average (.348), hits (171), RBI (88), on-base pct. (.424) and slugging pct. (484).

Danny Dorn

INF DANNY DORN has been activated to the Bisons today after being claimed by the Blue Jays on Friday. Dorn was having a great year at Triple-A Reno, hitting .386 with 26 doubles, 10 home runs, 53 RBI and a .618 slugging pct. in 75 games. Dorn also saw his first big league time with Arizona, hitting .167 with three RBI over two stints.

Ben Rowen

RHP BEN ROWEN has made 12 scoreless appearances for the Herd since the Blue Jays claimed the righty off waivers (Cubs) on August 3. In 15.0 innings, Rowen has allowed eight hits and walk while striking out eight. All eight hits he has allowed have been singles.

Bisons Bits

RHP RYAN TEPERA has logged seven straight scoreless outings, with five hits allowed and 11 strikeouts...The Bisons are 34-35 at Coca-Cola Field this season with only three home games left in 2015.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (74-56) defeated the Tigers, 9-2, on Sunday. Toronto outscored Detroit, 29-6, in the three-game series sweep. Former Bison Kevin Pillar was one of four Blue Jays that homered on Sunday. Toronto hosts Cleveland tonight at Rogers Centre at 7:07 p.m.
