Down to their final eight nine games of 2015, the IronPigs (61-75) play the rubber match of a three-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs (61-75) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 3-1 win yesterday, the Pigs snapped a five-game losing streak to the Chiefs and a four-game skid at NBT Bank Stadium. They also evened the series, 1-1, and improved to 2-3 on this eight-game road trip. Since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42), Lehigh Valley has posted a 39-33 record... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have gone 7-8 since their season-high 11-game winning streak from Aug. 3-15, which included a three-game, home sweep against the Pigs from Aug. 11-13 (started with seven straight against Pawtucket)... With a win tonight, the Pigs will clinch a winning season series against the Chiefs by going up 9-6 with just two games remaining (Sept. 3-4).

LHP Anthony Vasquez (7-7, 4.12) will start for LHV against RHP Taylor Hill (3-10, 5.18).
