Today's Game

This morning, the Buffalo Bisons host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders for the finale of a three-game series at Coca-Cola Field (5:35 p.m.). The Herd lost both games of last night's doubleheader by scores of 2-1 and 5-1. A four-game series with the Charlotte Knights starts Thursday with another doubleheader.

vs. the RailRiders

The Bisons are 0-2 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this year. The teams will next meet at PNC Field, June 26-28. Last year, the Herd went 9-7 against the RailRiders, including a 5-3 record at home.

Felix Doubront

LHP FELIX DOUBRONT will make his sixth start of the season this morning. The southpaw fell in defeat for the first time last Friday in Louisville, allowing two runs (one earned) in five innings of work. Doubront did strike out a season-high eight batters in the loss. Opponents are hitting just .186 against the lefty.

Caleb Gindl

OF CALEB GINDL has three straight multi-hit performances since being activated off the disabled list on Saturday. The outfielder has averaged .538 (7-13) with a double and three RBI. Overall, Gindl has a six-game hit streak entering today (.524, 11-21).

Bullpen

LHP ROB RASMUSSEN has made nine straight scoreless appearances since May 16. He has allowed just three hits in his last 12.2 innings of work. RHP GREGORY INFANTE has pitched scoreless baseball in 11 straight dating back to May 8 -a 17.0 inning stretch.

Roster Move

The Blue Jays have recalled RHP SCOTT COPELAND. The righty's 1.97 ERA was just 2.1 innings shy of qualifying as the league's best. The Blue Jays announced that they have optioned INF MUNENORI KAWASAKI to the Bisons to make roster room.

School Kids Day

Today, the Bisons host their annual School Kids Day game. The event reaches a milestone this year as Buffalo's 34 School Kids Day since 1988 have drawn 498,579 fans. This year, over 11,000 kids are expected from 140 local schools. The Bisons are 21-16 all time on School Kids Day games (DH included) including 13-5 since 2006.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (30-30) won their seventh straight last night, 4-3 over the Marlins. Edwin Encarnacion hit the walk-off two-run homer in the ninth inning. Mark Buehrle allowed two runs in six innings of a no-decision. Toronto hosts Miami again today at 12:37 p.m.
