June 10, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to snap a five-game skid when they take on the Durham Bulls on Wednesday afternoon in the finale of a three-game set. First pitch from Durham Bulls Athletic Park is set for 1:05 p.m.

LHP Anthony Vasquez (3-1, 1.64) gets the start for the Pigs. On Thursday vs. Indianapolis, the southpaw tossed 7.2 innings of shutout baseball and allowed just three hits while walking three and fanning four. In fact, over his 4 GS with Lehigh Valley thus far, Vasquez has faced just five batters with runners in scoring position (1-5).

LHP Jordan Norberto (1-2, 5.62) will be making his first start of the season for manager Jared Sandberg's squad in the series finale. Norberto's last outing came on Saturday at Gwinnett when he gave up a run on one hit to go along with two walks and two strikeouts over 2.1 IP. In his last 9 G, the Nagua, Dominican Republic native is 0-1 with a 10.97 ERA (10.2 IP, 13 ER). On April 29 at Coca-Cola Park, the southpaw allowed a run on three hits while walking two and striking out one in 1.2 IP of relief.

After going 2-4 with a double and a pair of runs scored on Tuesday, Pigs OF Domonic Brown has now hit safely in seven of his last eight games. In that time, Brown is hitting .313 (10-32)-1-3 with four doubles, five runs scored, a walk and a stolen base. The Zephyrhills, Fla. native is also tied for second in the International League with five extra base hits since June 1, trailing just former IronPig Darin Mastroianni who has six in that time for Syracuse.
