Today's Game
Tonight, the Bisons open up the second half of their season with a four-game series against Columbus (7:05 p.m.). Buffalo enters the second half winners of eight of their last 13 games. This marks the last series of the season at Coca-Cola Field against a non-divisional opponent.
vs. the Clippers
The Bisons are 2-1 against the Clippers this season, having won the only prior series in Columbus, May 18-20. All three games were decided by three runs or less. Buffalo has won nine of their last 12 games against the Clippers at Coca-Cola Field dating back to 2012.
Aaron Sanchez
RHP AARON SANCHEZ has joined the Herd on a MLB rehab assignment and will get the start tonight. Toronto placed Sanchez on the disabled list on June 14 with a lat strain. He has made two rehab starts in the low minors, including 2.2 innings for Dunedin (A) last Saturday (3 H, R, 2 BB, 2 SO). Sanchez was 5-4 with a 3.55 ERA in 11 starts for the Blue Jays this season.
All-Star Game
INF MATT HAGUE and RHP GREGORY INFANTE represented Buffalo last night in the 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game. Hague went 1-3 from the plate, knocking in the game's first run in the top of the first inning. Infante pitched 0.2 innings in relief, recording a groundout and a strikeout without allowing a baserunner. This marked the fourth straight year Buffalo sent multiple players to the All-Star Game.

All-Star INF MATT HAGUE has 115 hits this season while no other hitter in the IL has reached century mark. He also owns .347 batting average, the best in the IL by a whopping 30-point margin. Hague is now just four plate appearances shy of reaching full-season qualification.
Bisons Bits
OF ALEX HASSAN is batting .429 (15-35) over his last eight games. He has four doubles in his last five games...OF MELKY MESA has a .333 (12-36) average since July 5...LHP JEFF FRANCIS, LHP ANDREW ALBERS, and Team Canada take on Puerto Rico in a preliminary-round contest tonight in the Pan-American Games in Toronto (7:05 p.m.). Francis has two saves for Team Canada.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (45-46) resume play Friday night against Tampa Bay (7:07 p.m.). Josh Donaldson started at third base for the AL in the All-Star Game, and catcher Russell Martin entered the game as a reserve. Toronto enters the second half of the season in 4th place in the AL East, 4.5 games back of the Yankees.
