The Bulls open a four-game set against the Pawtucket Red Sox at the DBAP in the first series after the All-Star break. Durham is 6-5 in July, but has still dropped 16 of its last 24 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 4.0-game deficit. Pawtucket - the Boston Red Sox top affiliate - is 1-10 in July, and is just 1-12 over its last 13 games to fall from 38-39 to 39-52. The PawSox suffered through an 11-game losing skid from 6/29-7/10, two games off the worst losing streak in franchise history. Since 6/16, Pawtucket is just 2-12 over its last 14 road games.
