TODAY'S GAME: This morning, the Buffalo Bisons face the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the rubber match a three-game set at Coca-Cola Park (10:35 a.m.). With a win, the Herd can collect their second series win this roadtrip. Buffalo took two of three from Syracuse to begin the trip. After an off day on Thursday, the Bisons will begin an eight-game homestand against Thruway Cup rivals Rochester and Syracuse.

vs. IRONPIGS: The Bisons are 3-3 against the IronPigs this season. The clubs split a four-game set at Coca-Cola Field last week, April 16-19. With a win this morning, the Bisons can pick up their second series win in Lehigh Valley. The only previous set Buffalo has ever won at Coca-Cola Park was a two-game set, August 9-10, 2010 (8-1, 6-0).

HARVEY: RHP MATT HARVEY is the only Bisons starter yet to face the IronPigs this season. Harvey gets the ball this morning for his fifth start of the year. The righty is coming off his best outing at Triple-A, with 10 strikeouts in six innings last Friday in Syracuse. The 10 punchouts matched a career-high and were the most by a Bisons pitcher since August 28, 2010 (Dillon Gee, 11).

ROSTER MOVES: OF DUSTIN MARTIN is the newest Bison. The former Rochester Red Wing signed with the Mets yesterday and was added to the Herd. Martin hit .265 with 26 doubles, 15 home runs and 69RBI with the Wings in 2011. Yesterday, the Mets recalled INF ZACH LUTZ for his first big league promotion. Lutz struck out as a pinch hitter for New York last night.

HOMERING HERD: OF VINNY ROTTINO hit his first homer of the season last night. He is already the 11th different Bisons player to hit a longball this year. Buffalo has 22 home runs on the season -3rd most in the International League. INF VALENTINO PASCUCCI leads the Bisons with six homers.

BISONS BITS: In the last eight games, the Bisons rotation has combined to go 4-1 with a 2.27ERA and six quality starts...INF VALENTINO PASCUCCI has a nine-game hit streak over which he has averaged .300 (12-40) with two homers and seven RBI...OF VINNY ROTINNO is the only Bison who has played in all 20 games this year...LHP CHUCK JAMES has allowed just two hits in 6.2 innings and seven appearances this season (.091 average against).

METS UPDATE : The Mets (9-8) defeated the Marlins, 2-1, last night in INF Jose Reyes' return to Citi Field. In the eighth inning, Former Bisons OF LUCAS DUDA hit an RBI-infield single off the leg of another former Herd player, Miami RHP Edward Mujica. New York takes on Miami again tonight at 7:10 p.m.
