KEEP GOING: Despite the loss, the Red Wings are still 9-9 and off to their best start since the 2007 club went 14-4 in its first 18 games...the Wings have spent all but 2 days at or above the .500 mark.

NOT SO PERFECT 10: The Red Wings allowed a season-high 10 runs for the 2nd time...they also suffered a 10-1 defeat vs. Pawtucket (Red Sox) April 12.

SINGLES NIGHT: With consecutive singles by Darin Mastroianni, Brian Dozier, and Matt Carson, the Red Wings first 3 batters of the game hit safely for the first time since August 20, 2011 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees)... Brandon Roberts, Ray Chang and Dustin Martin turned the trick that day at PNC Field...Rochester accomplished this feat 4 times in all of 2011...the others: April 19 vs. Buffalo, June 11 vs. Toledo, and June 21 at Columbus.

MASTRO, PLEASE: Darin Mastroianni logged his 4th multi-hit in only his 7th game with the Red Wings.

WALK THIS WAY: With 2 walks tonight, Aaron Bates now has a team high of 11.

SLAMA DUNK: Anthony Slama has struck out 12 in 8.1 innings of work.
