Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the first game of a four-game in three-day series at Coca-Cola Park (7:05 p.m.). The Herd is coming off a 4-4 homestand during which it won three of its last four games. Buffalo has a winning record both at home (18-16) and on the road (17-15) this season.

Last Game (BUF 6, DUR 4)

Prior to yesterday's off day, the Bisons completed a 2-1 series win over Durham with a 6-4 victory on Wednesday. RHP Roberto Hernandez struck out six in 6.1 innings for his third win of the season. DH Jesus Montero drove in two runs in the Herd's five-run second inning.

vs. Lehigh Valley (1-1)

These teams split a two-game rain-shortened series at Coca-Cola Park, April 29-30. The rainout on May 1 in Lehigh Valley will be made up with tomorrow's doubleheader. The IronPigs don't come to Buffalo until July 8-10.

Chris Leroux

RHP Chris Leroux is 4-1 with a 3.21 ERA in six starts since being re-inserted into the starting rotation on May 14. He struck out eight in his last start, but suffered the defeat on Saturday against Charlotte. Leroux spent most of last season with Lehigh Valley and was 3-3 with a 3.82 ERA in 22 games and three starts for the IronPigs

David Adams

INF David Adams brings an eight-game hit streak into tonight's game. The veteran has averaged .435 (10-23) with four doubles, three RBI and seven runs scored. Adams has hit in 21 of his last 24 games with an at-bat since April 24 with a .379 average. On the season, Adams has walked 12 times to only 22 strikeouts with a .412 on-base pct.

Dalton Pompey

OF Dalton Pompey has hit in 24 of his last 29 games. Since May 8, he has averaged .336 (37-110) with six doubles, a home run, 13 RBI, seven stolen bases and 16 runs scored. On the season, Pompey has averaged .387 (12-31) with 13 RBI with runners in scoring position.

Bullpen Notes

RHP Ryan Tepera has converted his last eight save changes and has a 0.60 ERA in his last 10 outings (15.0IP, 16K)...RHP Ben Rowen has not allowed a run in 13 consecutive outings since May 8 (17.0IP)...LHP Aaron Loup was optioned to the Bisons on Wednesday.

Bisons Bits

LHP Wade LeBlanc leads the IL in ERA (1.51) and innings (83.2), is tied for the league-lead in wins (7) and is 3rd in strikeouts (81)...INF Casey Kotchman leads the IL with 16.75 plate appearances per strikeout.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (37-31) picked up a 13-2 win over the Phillies last night. Toronto has now scored 52 runs in their last six games. 1B Edwin Encarnacion and LF Michael Saunders hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning and former Bisons CF Kevin Pillar homered in back-to-back innings in the 7th and 8th. The Blue Jays are in Baltimore tonight (7:05 p.m.).
