Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
After 17 straight games against the South Division, the IronPigs (37-29) return to the North to play Game 1 of a three-game series against the fourth-place Buffalo Bisons (35-31) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 2-1 walk-off victory over Gwinnett in 11 innings last night, the Pigs swept the three-game set against the Braves and have improved to 5-1 on this 10-day, 10-game homestand. The Pigs are tied with Rochester for the best record in the IL in June (11-4) and now sport a 22-12 record since May 12 after starting 15-17... The Bisons -- Toronto's top affiliate -- won 6-4 versus Durham last night to take a three-game series, 2-1. The Bisons have won two straight contests after a 2-6 span from June 6-11. Still, after starting 11-17, the Bisons are 24-14 since May 7.
RHP Ben Lively (3-0, 2.08) will start for LHV against RHP Chris Leroux (4-4, 3.36).
Tonight is a Friday Night Fireworks, presented by PA Lottery... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
