IronPigs Begin Series with Bisons

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look for their fourth straight win when they open a four-game series with the Buffalo Bisons on Friday night at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch of the series opener is slated for 7:05 p.m.

RHP Ben Lively (3-0, 2.08) will be on the bump for the Pigs on Friday night. Lively earned the win on Saturday vs. Durham when he gave up one run on one hit to go along with three walks and five strikeouts in seven innings of work. Over his 4 GS with Lehigh Valley this season, the right-hander has held opponents to a .135 average (12-89).

RHP Chris Leroux (4-4, 3.36) gets the ball for the Bisons opposite Lively in the series opener. Leroux was tagged with the loss on Saturday at Charlotte after allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits while walking two and fanning eight in 4.2 IP. The Mississauga, Ontario, Canada native spent the majority of 2015 with the IronPigs and was 3-3 with a 2.82 ERA in 22 G (3 GS).

Pigs OF David Lough has hit safely in eight of his last nine games in the IL. In that time, Lough is hitting .324-0-4 (12-37, 2B, 3B, 4 BB, 5 R).

There will be Friday Night Fireworks presented by Coors Light following the game.
