The Biscuits scored individual runs on a controversial balk, a sacrifice fly and an error to take a 5-2 lead in the top of the 11th inning, before Willie Argo (HR, 1) belted a three-run home run to bust the game open; making it an 8-2 lead for the Biscuits after the top of the 11th came to a close.

Jimmy Patterson (W, 1-0) earned the win for Montgomery after tossing a scoreless bottom of the 10th inning.

Angel Sanchez took the no-decision after a fine outing that saw the right hander give up just one run (earned) on four hits in a season-best 6.1 innings. James Nygren (BS, 1) blew the save before Nick Wittgren (L 1-1) would be dealt the loss after allowing four runs (one earned) on two hits in his 2.2 innings of work.

The Suns used a first inning RBI double from Brady Shoemaker and a fourth inning two-out RBI single from Alex Burg to take a 2-0 advantage which would hold through six innings of play.

However, the Biscuits struck back to tie the game in the seventh thanks to a two-run single from Curt Casali with the bases loaded.

The Suns had a chance to score in the bottom of the eighth as Alfredo Silverio ripped a single into left field, but Austin Nola was thrown out at home after trying to score from second base on a controversial play at the plate that saw manager Andy Barkett be ejected by home plate umpire Jimmie Hollingsworth a few minutes after the play's completion.

Suns third base coach Rich Arena would be ejected by third base umpire Garrett Patterson in the 11th inning following a bases-loaded balk ruling that allowed the Biscuits to take a 3-2 lead.

With a leadoff triple in the bottom of the first inning, Danny Black extended his hitting streak to nine games, tied for the longest active streak in the Southern League.

Jacksonville and Montgomery will be back at it tomorrow at 3:05 p.m. ET at Bragan Field. The Suns will send out the lefty Justin Nicolino (1-2, 4.35) to the mound on Sunday, and he's set to be opposed by Biscuits right-hander Mike Colla (1-2, 4.57).
