
Birmingham Barons Release 2022 Regular Season Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Barons are excited to announce that their ninth season at Regions Field will begin on Friday, April 8th and conclude on Sunday, September 11th. The Barons schedule will consist mainly of six-game series that will begin on Tuesdays and end on Sundays, with a few exceptions including opening weekend and the week of July 4th.
The Barons will open the season at home with a three-game series against the Rocket City Trash Pandas on Friday, April 8th. This will be the first of three homestands against the Trash Pandas throughout the course of the 2022 season. This will be the Barons second year in row having their home opener double as their season opener. The Barons own a 4-4 mark in all-time home openers at Regions Field.
Following their opening series against the Trash Pandas, the Barons will hit the road for a six-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts from April 12th-17th.
Birmingham will enjoy two extended homestands of 12 games apiece during the season. The first starting with the Tennessee Smokies between July 4th-10th, followed by a series against the Montgomery Biscuits from July 12th-July 17th. The second extended homestand will see the Barons once again host the Smokies from August 16th-21st, followed up with a series with the Mississippi Braves from August 23rd-28th.
The Barons will conclude the 2022 regular season with a six-game series road series against the Trash Pandas between September 13th-18th.

Biloxi Shuckers: Tuesday, April 19th - Sunday, April 24th

Tennessee Smokies: Tuesday, May 3th - Sunday, May 8th
Rocket City Trash Pandas: Tuesday, May 17th - Sunday, May 22nd
June:
Pensacola Blue Wahoos: Tuesday, June 7th - Sunday, June 12th
Rocket City Trash Pandas: Tuesday, June 21st - Sunday, June 26th
July:
Tennessee Smokies: Monday, July 4th - Sunday, July 10th (off day will be Tuesday)
Montgomery Biscuits: Tuesday, July 12th - Sunday, July 17th
August:
Chattanooga Lookouts: Tuesday, August 2nd - Sunday, August 7th
Tennessee Smokies: Tuesday, August 16th - Sunday, August 21st
Mississippi Braves: Tuesday, August 23rd - Sunday, August 28th
September:
Chattanooga Lookouts: Tuesday, September 6th - Sunday, September 11th.
Barons fans can look forward to continued weekly promotions during the 2022 season such as Wet Nose Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, and Post-Game Firework Shows on Fridays.
The full 2022 promotional schedule, as well as promotional events and game times will be released as we get closer to the start of next season. Individual game tickets for the 2022 season will be available within the coming months.
