Bill Scott Hired As Coordinator of Hockey Operations for ECHL

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Wednesday announced that it has hired Bill Scott as Coordinator of Hockey Operations.

Scott will assist in overseeing team rosters, player transactions, player contracts and salary cap, and player immigration. He will also track automatic fines, coordinate all print materials and assist in the administration of the playing schedule.

A native of Markham, Ontario, Scott comes to the ECHL from Nashville of the National Hockey League where he was an intern in the hockey operations department. His duties included updating statistical databases for Predators scouts and organization of player information files, including immigration papers. Prior to joining the Predators, Scott worked four seasons as a student assistant with the Michigan State University hockey team, including conducting video analysis and breaking down game film for coaches, and graduated from Eli Broad College of Business in May of 2003.
