Former Negro League baseball player Dennis "Bose" Biddle will sign his book "Secrets of the Negro League" during a special appearance at the Lexington Legends' game Sunday at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Biddle, who played for the Chicago American Giants in 1953 and 1954, is listed in the Congressional Record as the youngest player ever in Negro League baseball. He was 17 when he joined Chicago in 1953.

"We're very happy to have Dennis Biddle with us Sunday," said Legends General Manager Andy Shea. "We were able to work this out on short notice, and I think it will be a great opportunity to get some insight into the Negro League era."

The Legends will play the Ashville Tourists at 2:05 p.m. Sunday. Biddle will be available for signing from 1 p.m., when the gates open, until 2:30 p.m.
