
Bees Send Snappers to Sixth Straight Loss

Beloit took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second, when Caleb Moore drove in Edward Ovalle on a sacrifice fly. The Snappers lead didn't last long, the Bees scored three times in the third to take a 3-1 lead. Burlington took advantage of several walks and used timely hitting, scoring twice in the eighth and once in the ninth. The Snappers pitching staff recorded ten strikeouts to the Bees one. With the loss, Beloit has lost a season high six games in a row.
The Snappers are now 22-24 on the season, the Bees are 23-22.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers and Bees play the third game of their four game series Saturday, May 27 at Pohlman Field. First pitch is set for 6:30 pm. After the game watch the First National Bank and Trust Company fireworks display.
