Salt Lake Bees News Release

Six Salt Lake pitchers combined to throw a three hitter, as the Bees downed the El Paso Chihuahuas 3-1 for the 2000th regular season win in franchise history. Adam Seminaris went the first two innings and allowed the only run. Brian Moran (4-2) worked the next two innings and was awarded the win. Kyle Barraclough pitched the next two innings with Oliver Ortega, Austin Warren and Zack Weiss each tossing a scoreless inning with Weiss earning his third save of the season. The six pitchers totaled eleven strikeouts with just three walks.

The Bees took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Kean Wong walked and scored from first on a double to left by Dillon Thomas. After the Chihuahuas tied the game in the second on a bases loaded walk, Salt Lake took the lead for good on a one out solo homer by Steven Duggar. Orlando Martinez would give the Bees a two run cushion with a bases empty blast in the seventh. Martinez led the Bees with two hits, as they have won the first two games of their series in El Paso.
