Bears Unveil 2003-04 Media Guide

HERSHEY â The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the 2003-04 HERSHEY BEARS media guide is on sale now.
The 256 page publication features a full color cover with a Brett Clark action shot from last year, an action shot featuring Bruce Richardson and Scott Parker, and a bench shot from the historic 1987-88 season with former BEARS head coach and current Binghamton Senators bench boss John Paddock. The book features over 30 pages of BEARS records, full page bios and pictures of all the 2003-04 players, and team-by-team statistics for the BEARS vs. the American Hockey League. Other features include a record of every game the BEARS have ever played dating back to 1938, the HERSHEY BEARS official alumni list, and an extensive listing of landmark dates in club history.
"It's the most comprehensive record book in the history of the organization, and now that we have it officially available to our fans, I think it's a very exciting day for everyone who follows the BEARS," said BEARS Director of Media Relations John Walton. "I think fans here in HERSHEY and in other longtime AHL cities will enjoy what we've put together.
The book is available beginning Thursday night at the Philadelphia Flyers/New York Islanders game at GIANT Center on the main concourse, and at this weekend's exhibition games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Binghamton. The BEARS will play two home exhibition games this weekend at GIANT Center, Tickets for both home exhibition games on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 will be $7. As in previous years, all parking will be free for both the Saturday game against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Sunday's game with Binghamton.
The BEARS open up the home portion of the 2003-04 season on Saturday, October 18th at GIANT Center. Season ticket information is available by calling 520-5796. Several different season ticket plans are available. Group ticket information for the October 18th home opener and all Bears home games is available by calling 534-3323. Ticket information is also available for the NHL exhibition game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Islanders on Thursday, October 2nd at GIANT Center.
