Canucks Recall Goaltender Tyler Moss

Today the Vancouver Canucks announced they have recalled goaltender Tyler Moss from the Manitoba Moose.

Moss, 28, played in a team record 42 games for Manitoba in 2002-03 and was named the team's Most Valuable Player and Three Star Champion. He posted a 21-15-5 record with a 2.81 GAA and a Save Pct. of .909. He tied a team record with five ties last season and set new Moose playoff records with 10 appearances and six wins. He finished the post-season with a goals against average of 2.23 and a .922 save percentage. He also appeared in one game with the Canucks last season and posted a 2.73 GAA. The Ottawa, ON native had played in 29 career NHL games, 17 with Calgary from 1997-1999 and 12 with Carolina during the 2000-01 season. He was drafted 29th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1993 Entry Draft.
