Syracuse, NY (October 1, 2003) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets reassigned goaltender Shane Bendera to Elmira (UHL).

After today's moves, Syracuse has 28 players remaining in camp.

The Crunch's home schedule begins on Saturday, October 11, when the Hershey Bears visit the War Memorial at Oncenter for the Express Mart Opening Night, followed by the Labatt post-game concert featuring The Jets, presented by Syracuse New Times, TK99 and Sunny 102.
