
Bears recieve five forwards from Washington

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the Washington Capitals that five players have been assigned from Washington's NHL camp to Chocolatetown. The announcement was made this afternoon by Capitals VP/General Manager George McPhee and BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The five players assigned today are centers Jared Aulin, Chris Bourque and Jakub Klepis, right wing Eric Fehr and center Dave Steckel. Aulin and Klepis skated last season with the Portland Pirates, while Steckel was a member of the AHL's Manchester Monarchs. Bourque, the son of NHL Hall-of-Famer Ray Bourque, made his pro debut with Portland last year after playing college hockey at Boston University. Fehr makes his pro debut this season after scoring 50 goals each of the last two seasons for Brandon in the Western Hockey League.
The BEARS play the club's final preseason game of 2005 this Sunday when the Norfolk Admirals come to call at GIANT Center. Face-off on Sunday night is 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available for the game at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 534-3911. All tickets for BEARS preseason games are $7 for general admission seating. HERSHEY'S 68th home opener is slated for Sunday, October 9 when Wilkes-Barre/Scranton visits at 5:00 p.m.
