
Atlanta ships Stewart to Chicago

The Atlanta Thrashers have assigned left wing KARL STEWART to the Chicago Wolves.
The 22-year-old forward collected career-highs with 16 goals and 226 penalty minutes in 77 games with the Wolves last year. STEWART accumulated a franchise-high 68 minor penalties last season, tied for second-most in the American Hockey League.
The Aurora, Ontario, native also registered a career-most four goals, six points and 32 penalty minutes in 12 playoff games last year.
