BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox will host the Miss Utility Diamond Dig on Sunday, Aug. 16, after the team takes on the Portland Sea Dogs at 6:05 p.m. A certified one-carat diamond valued at more than $4,000, provided by Adore Jewelry in Annapolis, Md., will be buried somewhere in the infield. Fans ages 18 and over can register to win a spoon during the game and winners will be selected at random. After a post-game fireworks display, contestants will be brought onto the field and given the spoons. The lucky fan who digs up the diamond will keep it!
