Chesapeake Baysox News Release

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox host the fourth annual Girl Scout Lock-In Friday, May 21, after the Baysox take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 7:05 p.m. The lock-in features discounted tickets for scouts and their parents, games and activities on the concourse and the option to camp out in the outfield.

Scouts and their parents can purchase lower reserved seat tickets for $10 (regularly $14) or upper reserved seat tickets for $7 (regularly $9 for youth or $11 for adults). The team is also offering discounted food vouchers for the event.

Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers planned the event. "The lock-in is always a huge hit," Rogers said. "Last year we had more than 500 people participate. This year, we have a lot of fun activities planned for the concourse and the suite levels of the stadium, and participants can once again camp in tents in the outfield."

Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. and participants will be recognized with a special pre-game parade at 6:20 p.m. After the game, the team will set up separate stations for dance lessons, gymnastics, arts and crafts and more.

For more information or to order discounted tickets and food vouchers, fans can contact Chris Rogers at (301) 464-4855 or crogers@baysox.com. Tent space is limited and must be reserved in advance.
