Curve, Pa - The make-up date for the April 26 rainout against the Akron Aeros (AA - Cleveland Indians) has been changed and will now be made up on Tuesday, August 3 at 5:30 p.m. as part of a doubleheader during Akron's visit to Blair County Ballpark. The game was originally scheduled to be made up on Wednesday, August 4.

"It was a little bit tougher scheduling this make-up game as opposed to others for a variety of reasons," said General Manager Rob Egan. "Because there are morning games at the end of our series with Akron this week and again in May, we wanted to avoid the possibility of an evening doubleheader followed by a morning game which would have created a scenario of the Curve and Aeros playing three games in less than 18 hours. As a rule, we also try to avoid playing doubleheaders on the first date and last date of a series because of travel considerations. While August provides another option, it's also the last time the two teams will play one another this season. So, for the competitive interests of the league, we are going to move the make-up date up one day to give ourselves another option in case there is rain during that last series."

Any fans holding a ticket to the Monday, April 26 rain out game can redeem their ticket(s) to any remaining 2010 Altoona Curve home game for equal or lesser value based on availability.
