
Baysox Host Eastern League Playoff Watch Party

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox are holding a free Eastern League Playoffs Game 1 Watch Party at Grotto Pizza in Gambrills in the Village at Waugh Chapel Shopping Center Wednesday, Sep. 9 starting at 6:00 p.m. until the end of the game. The Baysox have clinched first place in the Eastern League's Western Division meaning they will play the first two games of the five game playoff series on the road before returning home Friday, Sep. 11 at 7:05 for the first of three possible home games to finish the series. Baysox fans who want to cheer on the team as they open the playoffs on the road are invited to join Baysox staff in the party room at Grotto Pizza to watch the game as it is streamed live on MiLB.tv. The Baysox opponent for the first round playoff series has not yet been determined. There will be free gifts and door prizes given out to all fans who attend the event. The full Grotto Pizza menu will be available to all fans in attendance.
Baysox single game playoff tickets for the team's first game Friday, Sep. 11 are now on sale at www.baysox.com. Baysox 2015 playoff ticket strips are also on sale at www.baysoxshop.com. Fans can reserve their seat for all six possible home playoff games for $66 per strip. For each two strips purchased, fans will receive one free Baltimore Orioles Maryland-themed Oriole Bird bobblehead and one Baltimore Orioles Trucker Hat.
