BayBears rally in ninth for 4-3 win

CHATTANOOGA, TN - The BayBears were down by three runs with two outs in the ninth inning Monday, but came back to beat Chattanooga 4-3. After an RBI single by Chris Rahl to score the first run, Javier Brito hit a two-run home run to tie the game. After two walks by incoming pitcher Carlos Bohorquez, Carlos Gonzalez hit an RBI single to score Mobile's fourth run.

Abe Woody (4-1) was the winning pitcher for Mobile, throwing a scoreless eighth and ninth innings. Chattanooga Manager Jayhawk Owens was ejected from the game for arguing balls and strikes in the ninth inning.

Chattanooga's first two runs came with two outs in the third inning, on an RBI double by Paul Janish and an RBI single by Drew Anderson. Marland Williams hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning for the third Chattanooga run.

The BayBears return home with a 23-22 record, preparing for a five-game series against the Huntsville Stars Wednesday. The BayBears do not play Tuesday. Chris Kinsey (1-4) starts for Mobile against Huntsville Wednesday.
