Stars Welcome Back Familiar Face

The Milwaukee Brewers have sent outfielder Drew Anderson from triple-A Nashville to Huntsville and have released outfielder-first baseman Mike Carlin. Anderson is expected to be in uniform Monday night for the Stars for the fourth of a five-game series with West Tenn.

Anderson batted .197 for the Sounds, collecting 24 hits in 122 at-bats. The left-hand swinger doubled five times, drove in five runs and stole three bases. The University of Nebraska product hit .291 with six home runs and 43 RBI for the Stars last season over 402 at-bats in 108 games.

Carlin batted .215 with one home run, in his first game against Jacksonville on April 19, and seven runs driven in over 65 at-bats with the Stars. He added five doubles and scored nine runs.
