Tonight's Matchup: The Brandon Wheat Kings and Winnipeg ICE renew the Battle of Manitoba this weekend with a home and home series. These two teams haven't met since opening weekend. The ICE are in the midst of a three-game road trip, while Brandon plays their third straight at Westoba Place tonight. Click here for tickets!

Last Time Out: 4-3 W vs Regina: Brett Hyland scored 0:20 into the game on Saturday night, etching himself into the record books as the fastest goal scorer in Teddy Bear Toss history. The Wheat Kings scored early and often but then had to hang on for a 4-3 victory. It improves the BWK December record to 5-2-0-0.

Franchise Milestone: Tonight is the 3800th game in Wheat Kings franchise history. Since entering the WHL in 1967, the Wheat Kings are 1858-1645-124-69 with 103 ties. The club's 1800th franchise victory came over the ICE back on November 11th, 2019.

Bingo in #50: In his 50th career WHL game, Brett Hyland sent the bears flying just 0:20 seconds into Saturday's game. The historic goal was just the 11th of Hylands career, but beats Rene Hunter's 2013 marker 0:29 into a game vs Kelowna. Hyland has scored in back to back games and has three goals in his last four outings.

Belarussian Setup Man: Zakhar Polshakov has back to back games with a pair of assists. The import rookie has twelve points this season (3G-9A) and eight of those points have come in multi-point games.
