
Barons Welcome Generals, Biscuits to Regions Field for 10-Game Homestand

Birmingham, AL - The Barons return to Regions Field on June 5th to begin their longest homestand of the seasonwith five games against the Jackson Generals, Double-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, and five games against the Montgomery Biscuits, Double-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
The homestand kicks off on June 5th with Thirsty Thursday where fans can enjoy 16 oz. beverages for just $2 while enjoying a pre-game concert courtesy of Birmingham Mountain Radio and Tin Roof. The concert will be performed by the band "ËFung Shway' with gates opening at 5:30 PM CDT.
On Friday, the Barons will give away a Seat Cushion to the first 1,500 fans courtesy of Operation Life Saver. Following the game, fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks show presented by Coca-Cola and Alabama Power.
On Saturday, the Barons will host the first ever Used Car Night at Regions Field where four lucky fans will have the opportunity to win a used car courtesy of City Auto Sales and Birmingham Auto Auction. Saturday is also Los Barons Night presented by the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama. The Barons will wear special "ËLos Barons' jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds going to HICA. The Barons will also give away a grill during the game courtesy of All-South Appliance.
Sunday's throughout the season are Military Appreciation days at Regions Field presented by DRASH and NAPA as the Barons wear commemorative Camo Jerseys and pay tribute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
Monday's game will start at 11:30AM for the final Business Person Special of the 2014 season as the Barons encourage local business people tospend their lunch break at Regions Field. It's also the final Kids Camp Day of the 2014 season where local Day Camps spend an afternoon at the ballpark. Monday's throughout the 2014 season are also YP Day's at Regions Field.
After an off-day on Tuesday, the Barons return to action on AAA Wednesday where fans can get $2 off admission by showing their AAA card. Wednesday also marks the return of the Principal Financial Dreams Tour to Regions Field. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive a collectable Rally Towel courtesy of Principal Financial.
The second Thirsty Thursday of the homestand takes place on June 12th where fans can again enjoy 16 oz. beverages for just $2 while enjoying a pre-game concert courtesy of Birmingham Mountain Radio and Tin Roof. This concert will be performed by the band "ËHeavy Hearts' with gates opening at 5:30 PM CDT. Thursday is also the first of three-straight games where the Baronswill celebrate Michael Jordan's legendary 1994 season in Birmingham by wearing special 1994 Throwback Uniforms. The jerseys will be available through a silent auction after the series with the proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association.
On Friday, the Barons will give away T-Shirts to the first 1,000 Adults in attendance courtesy of Serra Kia. Friday is also Caribbean Night at Regions Field presented by the Central Alabama Caribbean American Organization. Thenight will be filled with the sights and sounds of the Caribbean including a pre-game celebration on the field. Following the game, fans will be treated to the second post-game fireworks show of the homestand courtesy of Coca-Cola and Alabama Power.
The Zooperstars! return to Regions Field on Saturday as part of the Red Diamond & Barber's Entertainment Series. There will be a special pre-game concert by the group "ËRescue Dogs' in the Courtyard prior to the game starting at 6:00PM presented by Good People Brewery. The Barons will give away a grill courtesy of All-South Appliance during the game. Saturday is also Church Night at Regions Field where Church Groups can take advantage of special group pricing.
The homestand concludes on Father's Day with Salute To Armed Forces Sunday presented by DRASH and NAPA. Fans will have the chance to play catch on the field for 45 minutes prior to the start of the game beginning at 1:15PM-2:00PM. Gates will open at 1:00PM.
