
Ballpark Festival of Beers Returns to Canal Park September 5

(AKRON, OHIO) August 14, 2015 - The Akron RubberDucks announced today it will host the 2015 Ballpark Festival of Beers, presented by Goose Island, on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The 2015 Ballpark Festival of Beers, presented by Goose Island, will feature a variety of more than 150 local, regional, and domestic beers, including an exclusive area for Ohio-based beers. Tickets for the three-hour event are $30 in advance, and $35 at the gates the day of the event.
"The Ballpark Festival of Beers is back at Canal Park due to popular demand and the tremendous support we saw at last year's inaugural event," said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander. "We are excited to partner again with Goose Island to provide a fun event for fans 21 and older to have a great night filled with live music, great food, and some of the best beer Ohio and all of America has to offer."
Along with admission to the 2015 Festival of Beers at Canal Park, tickets include a commemorative sampling glass and one of two sampling options: either 25 standard-sized sample tickets or 15 larger-sized sample tickets. In addition, patrons will enjoy the sounds of a live band from the center-field stage, a variety of food options at the vendor village set up around the infield (vegetarian options available).
A designated driver ticket is available for $20, which will include a hot dog, chips, and soft drink. The designated driver ticket is not available through online purchasing, only at the box office or by phone.
There are three ways for fans to purchase tickets: in-person at the Canal Park box office during normal business hours (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday), by calling the Akron RubberDucks box office at 330-253-5153, or online at www.akronrubberducks.com.
