STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP: LHP Darin Gorski (5-4, 4.11) makes his 13th start of the season and 14th overall appearances. The southpaw earned the win in his last start, tossing six shutout innings against the Erie SeaWolves on June 22. It was the fourth time this season Gorski has thrown six shutout innings or more. He allowed five hits and struck out four. Selected in the seventh round of the 2009 draft, Gorski is in his first season with the B-Mets.

RHP Bobby Bundy (2-9, 4.91) takes the mound for his 15th start and first against the B-Mets. The Oklahoma native has gone winless in his last seven starts and is suffering through his second four-game losing streak of the year. He lost his most recent start against the Reading Phillies on June 23. The righty allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits over 4.2 innings. His last win came against the Altoona Curve on May 9. Selected in the eighth round of the 2008 draft out of Sperry HS in Skiatook, Oklahoma, Bundy spent the final month of last season with Bowie. He is the older brother of Orioles top prospect pitcher Dylan Bundy.

FEELS LIKE A LONG TIME: Binghamton's current four-game losing streak at home is their longest this season. Their last win at NYSEG Stadium came nearly two weeks ago, a 4-3 victory over the Altoona Curve on June 15.

HITS PILING UP: Over the last six games, the B-Mets pitching staff has surrendered a total of 71 hits. Opponents are hitting .279 against the B-Mets in the month of June. The B-Mets pitching staff has compiled a 4.49 ERA in the month, fourth-highest in the Eastern League.
