----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for their third consecutive win and eighth straight road win as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the third game of a four-game series at Canal Park...Yesterday, the SeaWolves, aided by a pair of big flies from Jordan Lennerton and Tony Plagman, took down the Aeros 8-5 to win their second straight and seventh straight on the road. Erie is now back to the .500 mark and the club is still 1.5 games behind second place Harrisburg in the EL Western Division...Tonight, the 'Wolves send righty Patrick Cooper to the mound making his 11th appearance, fifth start and second start against the Aeros. He took a no-decision in his first start against Akron tossing three innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on three hits in game two of a doubleheader. Cooper earned his second consecutive win in his last start against Binghamton on June 23. In the game, he allowed two runs on six hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Cooper has allowed just four earned runs over his last five appearances (two starts)...The Aeros counter with right hander Brett Brach who is making his 10th start and third against the SeaWolves. He is 0-1 with a no-decision in his previous two starts against the 'Wolves. Brach took a loss in his most recent start against Altoona on June 23. In the game, he allowed eight runs, four earned, on seven hits with five walks and a strikeout in 3.2 innings of work.
