The Crosscutters for the second night in a row were limited offensivley as they fell to the Scrappers 8-2, dropping the rubber match.

Matt Vierling had his eight-game hit streak snapped, going 0 for 4 despite putting the ball in ball all four times at the plate.

Seth Lancaster drove home a run with a RBI ground rule double, finishing 1 for 4. Jonathan Guzman plated the other run for Williamsport, using a sacrifice fly.

Gustavo Armas suffered his first loss of the season, allowing five runs over 4.1 innings of work. Armas allowed seven hits, including a home run in the loss.

The Crosscutter left six runners on base. Going 1 for 7 with runners in scoring position.
