Avalanche Reassign Forwards A.J. Greer and Rocco Grimaldi to Rampage

SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche announced that forward Vladislav Kamenev has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Avalanche have reassigned forwards A.J. Greer and Rocco Grimaldi to the Rampage.

Since joining the Rampage on Nov. 5, Kamenev has collected four assists in four games with San Antonio and has totaled 12 points (3g/9a) in 14 AHL games this season. Kamenev spent the previous two campaigns with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), totaling 51 points (21g, 30a) in 2016-17, and finishing second on the team in points and third in both goals and assists. The Orsk, Russia, native was a second-round selection of the Nashville Predators in the 2014 NHL Draft (42nd overall).

Grimaldi has registered three points (1g/2a) in five games with Colorado after his Oct. 28 recall. The 5-foot-6, 180-pound forward began the 2017-18 season with the Rampage, recording five points (2g/3a) in seven contests. Grimaldi became just the seventh player in franchise history to reach the 100-point mark with the Rampage after recording an assist on Oct. 22 vs. the Texas Stars.

Greer has appeared in six games with the Avalanche this season, recording one assist and 18 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 204-pound forward made his 2017-18 season debut with San Antonio, tallying two assists in two games with the Silver and Black before being recalled on Oct. 22.

San Antonio travels north on Interstate 35 to take on the Texas Stars on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
