American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Toronto Marlies forward Mason Marchment has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a cross-checking incident in a game at Binghamton on Nov. 10.

Marchment was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Toronto's games Saturday (Nov. 18) and Sunday (Nov. 19), both vs. Syracuse.

San Diego Gulls forward Scott Sabourin has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a cross-checking incident in a game vs. Stockton on Nov. 10.

Sabourin was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss San Diego's games Friday (Nov. 17) and Saturday (Nov. 18), both vs. Tucson.

Rochester Americans defenseman Andrew MacWilliam has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Belleville on Nov. 11.

MacWilliam was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Rochester's game Wednesday (Nov. 15) vs. Binghamton.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman Andrey Pedan has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of a charging incident in a game vs. Providence on Nov. 11.

Pedan was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's games Friday (Nov. 17) at Binghamton, Nov. 22 vs. Lehigh Valley and Nov. 24 at Syracuse.
