Austin Spurs Fall to Memphis Hustle 110-97

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Spurs (12-11), presented by SWBC, fell to the Memphis Hustle (14-9), 110-97, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park Saturday afternoon.

?San Antonio Spurs assignee Lonnie Walker IV paced the Silver and Black with a career-high 34 points (12-22 FG, 4-6 3FG, 6-7 FT). Amida Brimah controlled the boards with 13 rebounds and chipped in nine points (4-6 FG). Ben Moore contributed 11 points (4-5 FG) and five rebounds off the bench.

A fiercely competitive first half resulted in seven lead changes and five ties, with neither team able to gain more than a single-digit advantage. A late push by Memphis propelled the Hustle to a 57-50 lead going into the half.

The Hustle continued their scoring push in the second half, extending their lead to as many as 21 points and ending the third quarter with an 80-67 lead.

Lonnie Walker IV led the Silver and Black's comeback effort, scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter and cutting the Hustle lead to as little as six late in the contest, but the Hustle would hold on to win for a final score of 110-97.
