Vipers Acquire Roger Moute a Bidias in Trade with Raptors 905

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, NBA G League Affiliate of the Houston Rockets, announced today that they have completed a trade with Raptors 905. Raptors 905 agree to trade forward Roger Moute a Bidias to the Vipers in exchange for the Erie Bayhawk's 2019 NBA G League Draft 3rd round pick which the Vipers own.

Moute a Bidias (6-6, 206) played two seasons with the Raptors 905. This season, Moute a Bidias has played in 15 games averaging 2.9 points, 1.9 boards, and shooting 45.8% from the line in 12 minutes of play. In 2017-18, Moute a Bidias averaged 2.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.6 minutes of action.

Prior to the Raptors 905, Moute a Bidias played at University of California for four seasons. Moute a Bidias best season was as a senior where he played in 30 games, starting in eight, averaging 2.8 points and 1.8 boards in 11.9 minutes of action.

Moute a Bidias competed in the 2012 Adidas Nations tournament with his native country, Cameroon. He played in four games where he averaged 4.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and one assist in 20.5 minutes of play.

RGV waived wing Matthew Fisher-Davis to create a roster spot to accommodate Moute a Bidias.
