AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (5-6) were defeated by the Memphis Hustle (5-5), 117-108 on Saturday evening at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
David Duke Jr. led the way for the Spurs with 25 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field. RaiQuan Gray poured in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Erik Stevenson finished with the final stat line of 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Both teams traded buckets at the start of the game, but the Spurs notched 24 points in the paint and shot 63.3% from the field to take an early lead, 37-23. Austin kept up the momentum in the second frame to end the first half with the advantage, 60-47. In the third period, the Hustle went on a 14-2 run with 3:37 remaining to cut the Spurs deficit to 13, 90-77. Memphis kept at it in the final frame, outscoring Austin 40-18 to complete the comeback.
DeJon Jarreau paced the Hustle with a triple double as he tallied 30 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Adonis Arms followed with 20 points and 6 rebounds while David Johnson scored 19 points for Memphis.

Austin will hit the road to face the Salt Lake City Stars on Monday, Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. CT at the Maverik Center. The game will be available to watch on the G League App.
