
Brown Notches Seventh Regular-Season Double-Double

FRISCO, TX - Greg Brown III grabbed his seventh double-double in nine active games of the regular season as the Texas Legends (6-4) dropped a shoving match to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (8-1) 118-132.
The Legends ended the first quarter on a 13-2 run to lead 39-28. The home team carried that lead through the midway mark of the fourth quarter, but the visitors stampeded through the final minutes 44-23 to sweep the weekend series.
Brown's double-double was his third straight as he finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and 5 blocks. Mike Miles Jr. grabbed a new season-high off the bench with 22 points joined by Jordan Walker with 21 points, 6 assists. Joe Wieskamp added 16 points, 3 rebounds and Theo Pinson tagged on 14 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
Jarrett Culver led all scorers with 34 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Darius Days added 19 points, 7 rebounds and Jermaine Samuels Jr. finished with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
