Squadron Sign Forward Josh Nzeakor

Birmingham Squadron News Release
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, have signed forward Josh Nzeakor from the available player pool, the team announced Saturday.
The 6-8 Lamar alumnus has appeared in six regular season G League games this season for Westchester, Santa Cruz and Texas and averages 4.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 14.7 minutes of action per contest.
Last season, Nzeakor played in 15 games for Birmingham, averaging 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Nzeakor is available for Birmingham's 7 p.m. tip-off tonight against the Cleveland Charge at Legacy Arena at the BJCC.
