Atlanta Assigns Maxwell to Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned forward BEN MAXWELL to the Chicago Wolves.
The 22-year-old forward was recalled by the Thrashers on Feb. 28 and was held scoreless in two games with Atlanta.
MAXWELL was traded to Atlanta along with a fourth round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by Montreal in exchange for defenseman BRENT SOPEL and forward Nigel DAWES on Feb. 24. He has not appeared in any games with Chicago this season, but has notched 40 points (11G, 29A) in 47 American Hockey League games with the Hamilton Bulldogs.
The Wolves take on the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena tonight at 7 p.m., before returning home to face the Manitoba Moose at the Allstate Arena tomorrow at 3 p.m.
