OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 5, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned forward Colin Greening to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .

Greening, 24, was recalled to Ottawa for the third time this season on March 1 and scored his first National Hockey League goal in Ottawa's 3-1 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers on March 3. The St. John's, N.L., native has recorded one goal, two assists and four penalty minutes in nine NHL games. He has 36 points (13 goals, 23 assists) in 54 games with the B-Sens this season.

The B-Sens, in fifth place in the AHL's East Division with a 32-22-3-4 record and 71 points, next see action on Sunday, March 6, when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 5:05 p.m.
