Carrozzi Heads Back to Gwinnett

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned goaltender CHRIS CARROZZI from the Chicago Wolves to the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators.

CARROZZI made his American Hockey League debut on March 1 and stopped 21 shots in the Wolves 6-5 overtime loss to the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena.

The 20-year-old netminder has appeared in 35 ECHL outings with Gwinnett during his professional debut this season (13-13-5), posting a 3.23 goals-against average and .896 save percentage.

The Wolves return to Carver Arena tonight to face the Rivermen at 7 p.m., before hosting the Manitoba Moose at the Allstate Arena on Sunday at 3 p.m.
