Buffalo Sabres Recall Mark Mancari From Portland

BUFFALO, NY - Buffalo Sabres GM Darcy Regier announced today that forward Mark Mancari has been recalled from the AHL's Portland Pirates.

This is the second recall of the season for Mancari (7/11/1985, 6'3", 225 lbs.), who is currently third in AHL scoring with 64 points (32+32) in 56 games. The 25-year-old Mancari was the AHL's Player of the Month for January when he totaled 13 goals and eight assists, and was a plus-10 in 15 games. In 19 career NHL games with the Sabres, Mancari has 6 points (2+4).

Mancari was Buffalo's seventh-round choice (207th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.
