Argos add two NFL vets to roster

Mississauga – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club has beefed up its offence with the addition of two NFL veterans and former 3rd round NFL draft picks in wide receiver Marvin "Snoop" Minnis, a former first team All-American and once a finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff award as the nation's top receiver while at Florida State, and running back Brian "Skip" Hicks, another first team All-American who spent four active seasons in the NFL from 1998 to 2001 with Washington and Tennessee. Minnis most recently attended training camp with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL and Hicks comes to Toronto after attending training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Both players are expected to practice with their new teammates later today.
