November 15, 2014 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Norfolk Admirals News Release
ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks have called up Chris Wagner from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals. The center has played in one National Hockey League (NHL) game so far this year, his NHL debut.
Wagner, 23, was most recently recalled on October 15 to the NHL club, where he was kept until being reassigned to the Admirals on October 26. Although Wagner did not produce any points in his game with the Ducks, he has led the Admirals in points and goals since his hat trick on opening night.
Hailing from Wellesley, Massachusetts, Wagner has recorded at least one point in all but three of his eight games so far with Norfolk for a total of nine. His six goals, two of which were shorthanded, came on 14 shots and he has notched three points on two separate occasions. In Wagner's last series, a split against Syracuse, he registered two points and four shots.
Norfolk hosts the Binghamton Senators for the second of a back-to-back series tonight at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are still available for purchase at the Scope Box Office, ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
