Syracuse, N.Y. -The Syracuse Crunch (8-4-3-0) erased a two-goal deficit to defeat the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (9-6-1-0) 3-2 tonight at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
Yanni Gourde scored twice and Mike Angelidis netted the game-winner to improve the club's point streak to seven-games. Netminder Kristers Gudlevskis stopped 27 of 29 shots for his sixth win of the season.
The Crunch faced a 2-0 deficit after the first period of play thanks to Penguins goals from Conor Sheary and Andrew Ebbett.

The Penguins converted on their first-power play chance just over a minute later with a power-play goal from Ebett set up by Scott Wilson and Derrick Pouliot.
Yanni Gourde cut the deficit in half with his fourth goal of the season with 3:19 to play in the second period. Gourde scored on a rebound created from a Slater Koekkoek slap shot. Gourde evened the score with a power-play goal 2:16 into the third period. Set up by Nikita Nesterov and Jonathan Marchessault, Gourde's scored on a one-timer from the right wing circle.
